Team Building
What a perfect location for a fabulous team building activity. You will be met in the foyer and led on a short stroll to the beach for a fun and fantastic day experience under the shade of palm trees on absolute beachfront. Here are a few examples of our team building activities:
Aussie team Olympics
Along with volleyball and cricket, a number of team orientated activities will be staged on the beach or amongst the tropical gardens surrounding the resort.
The Treasure Hunt
Hidden in the sand are a series of clues which lead each team to solve a puzzle.
Hula Hoop Circle
Delegates stand in a circle and hold hands. The aim is to use their bodies to weave the hula hoop around each person until it is back at the beginning.
Rope and Tie
A good old fashion game of tug a war!
Secret Service Agents
Secret Service Agents will storm through the doors into the foyer of Kewarra Beach Resort & Spa, handing each delegate their own envelope outlining the day’s Mission. Forming small teams, each group will be handed their Survival Pack (containing bandanas, water, a map, clues, camera and sunscreen). After a short bus transfer groups will begin the Amazing Race — a customised discovery of Cairns City and surrounds on foot.
The journey will take participants on a challenging and fun journey through the variety of natural, cultural and urban highlights of this Northern Tropical Paradise. Points will be awarded for each clue collected and for each conundrum that is solved. Bonus points will be awarded for the number of Secret Service Agents spotted along your journey. Back at our resort, the winning team will be announced at a prize ceremony.
